I submitted this last as there is clearly a back story to this piece of beautiful graffiti, This is clearly a banner for Art Is Resistance.
I wouldn’t know for a second whom the brilliantly skilled creative mastermind was that decided Newtown needed a piece of art of this beauty but I know it was added on May 1st at 3:47am & it was a bloody cold morning… Not that I know anything about such shenanigans… ART IS RESISTANCE!!! One of the perks about living in such a culturally diverse environment is everywhere you go there is inspiration & beauty, in the most strangest of creative manifestations. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
